How We Roll

SVE understands that trail projects are not your standard engineering projects, and should not be treated as such. Need an engineer that knows the difference between a “table top” and a “shark fin”, that can also perform ADA-compliant access and SCS hydrograph routing? We have it covered.

    • Working alongside dedicated trails contractors, SVE can provide layout, flagging, and trail alignment support to kick off the design process.

    • Storm Water Management Plans (SWMPs), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Low Impact Development (LID) Best Management Practice (BMP) design are all common deliverables and tasks.

    • From Special Use Permits (SUP), Conditional Use Permits (CUP), Administrative Reviews and similar entitlement expertise - to online application management, bid management and assistance with bid solicitation - SVE has experience executing trails projects from start to finish.

  • Sierra Vista Park

    The Advanced MTB Flow Trail at the firm’s namesake park in Reno, Nevada, where SVE has volunteered with Biggest Little Trail Stewardship and tested lines with Momentum Trail Concepts.

  • Biggest Little Bike Park

    The Intermediate Pump Track, where SVE provided Bike Park/ Trail Master Plan and Bike Park Infrastructure consulting, to convert an unsanctioned area of dirt jumps into an official county amenity with a variety of progressive trails for the community at the Sun Valley Regional Park, Washoe County in northwest Nevada.
